Who is she?
Award-winning Singer/Songwriter Meg Russell grew up in Bucks County, PA.
Meg, a Special Education Teacher by trade, combined her two passions of music and teaching by creating original music for children. Her canvas for lyrics emphasized the songs for children to feel included, valued and special. This musical journey was an instant success! Meg’s two full-length CDs, “Hat Parade” and “Puzzle”, both won Parents Choice Recommended Awards, placing her music in Libraries and Barnes and Noble stores across the country and winning the Independent Music Award, too, along with performances at World Cafe Live in Philly, community events in NYC, Boston, Colorado, Virginia, etc. More recently, Meg also writes and performs Adult Contemporary music, where she is already a professional Nashville recording artist. Meg brings forms of expression with her warm connective vibe, sense of humor, and unique sound to her audiences. Her newest original songs are an outpouring of inspiration with heart-filled life experiences behind them. Meg’s most recent release, “Hidden Spaces” will be re-released in late May 2024 and can be heard on all streaming platforms.
